The coffee that makes
every morning
worth starting.
Most coffee sits in a warehouse for weeks before it reaches you. Ours doesn't. Every order triggers the roaster. That's why it tastes different.

Roasted to order
isn't a marketing line.
It's how we operate.
When you place an order, we roast your coffee. Not yesterday. Not last week. The day it ships. Coffee starts losing its best flavors within weeks of roasting — most bags you buy at the store are already past their peak before you open them.
We don't pre-roast and stockpile. We don't have a warehouse full of bags waiting to go. We keep it simple: you order, we roast, we ship. Your coffee arrives at the exact moment it's at its best.
The coffee.
Three origins. Three roasts. One price. All roasted when you order.
Light Roast
Colombia
Bright and clean. Colombian beans roasted light to let the natural character of the coffee come through. A great morning cup.

Medium Roast
Guatemala
Smooth and balanced. Guatemalan beans at a medium roast — bold enough to hold up to cream and sugar, good enough to drink black.

Dark Roast
Uganda
Rich and full-bodied. Ugandan beans taken deep for a dark roast with real substance. The kind of coffee that tastes like coffee.

One roaster.
One roast.
No shortcuts.
I started Grada-Luca because I believed good coffee shouldn't require a glossary, a subscription box, or a $6 price tag to be worth drinking. I'm one person, roasting in small batches in Western Pennsylvania.
Every bag is roasted to your order. I source beans from farms I believe in — Fair Trade certified, organic where it counts — and I keep the price honest because that's the whole point. Great coffee at a fair price, made by someone who gives a damn.
